Two years ago, when the new owners had a chance to purchase the store from the original owner, Michael Okeeffe, they knew that this was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Add to that, the town of South Salem, New York and the many, wonderful surrounding towns, both in New York as well as Connecticut with people who could not be more eclectic and interesting and above all, decent. It has been a lifelong dream for the current proprietor to own and operate a small wine shop thus putting his many years of experience selling wine, finally to good use. The new owners were from day one, dedicated to designing a shopping environment for fellow wine enthusiasts that met the needs of all their clientele. Those with sophisticated taste and novices all are welcome and treated with respect.
